Health Policy

Autism CARES Act -- A bill introduced late last week in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives would reauthorize the nation’s primary autism legislation. Read more.
Sign on to the Transformation to Competitive Employment Act (HR 783/S 260), which would phase out subminimum wage under the Fair Labor Standards Act over 6 years AND provide capacity-building grants to help transform sheltered workshops and increase opportunities for competitive integrated employment for people with disabilities.
