Governor Newsom appoints California's First-Ever Surgeon General

Assembly Bill 493 (Gloria) would train teachers to help prevent bullying of LGBTQ students. 

Sign on to the Transformation to Competitive Employment Act (HR 783/S 260), which would phase out subminimum wage under the Fair Labor Standards Act over 6 years AND provide capacity-building grants to help transform sheltered workshops and increase opportunities for competitive integrated employment for people with disabilities.
