The Vanderbilt Way
Dear Friends,
Thank you for your continued support of the Vanderbilt Libraries. All of us in the libraries look forward to the day we can welcome our Friends back into our spaces. This is an exciting time at the libraries. Our commitment to campus partnerships and research continues to grow as we cultivate the next generation of global leaders and work together to solve some of the world’s most pressing problems.
Librarians are connecting with students and faculty in libraries, classrooms, student centers and faculty forums. We stay current on best practices for teaching research skills, improving opportunities for information discovery, and enabling access to the tools and methodologies used in new research. Acquisitions of new materials and catalog upgrades broaden access to scholarship produced by Vanderbilt researchers. Our spaces are welcoming and specifically created for collaboration and deep thought.
Every day, the Vanderbilt Libraries renews its commitment to deliver essential research services and programming for our Friends and the greater Vanderbilt community. We are adapting as the needs of our community grow. In person and online, we provide students and faculty seamless access to the materials, collections and expertise that make Vanderbilt University a top research institution. Indeed, more than ever, the libraries remain central to the educational enterprise and research lifecycle.
The libraries are open for Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff. Until we can welcome you in person, we hope you will
visit us online and follow us on social media (@vandylibraries).
