If you receive an award from GW or from another entity it's important that you review your award letter to ensure you follow the award's requirements. In particular, you will want to confirm if your award is renewable for multiple years or non-renewable.
If you have questions about your award, please contact the awarding department. A specific contact person should be listed in the body of the award letter.

Summer Institute on Systems Sciences for Public Health & Public Policy |
Scholarships Now Available!
This summer, join GW's Institute for Socioeconomic Opportunity (ISEO) for their first-ever Systems Sciences for Public Health & Public Policy course, a part of the GWSPH Summer Institute.

👥 Open to students and professionals nationwide
Learn how to apply systems thinking in public health and public policy to address the root causes of disparity in health, wealth and wellbeing. If your work touches complex social challenges, this course is built for you. Join us to gain practical tools and a network of peers committed to advancing socioeconomic opportunity.
Scholarships are now available to qualified applicants on a first-come, first-served basis, with consideration given to applicants whose academic, professional, research, or community work aligns with the goals and subject matter of the course. If you are a GW faculty or staff member enrolling in this course, you may be eligible for tuition remission.

Fulbright U.S. Student Program |

Award Description:
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide. The program currently awards approximately 2,200 grants annually in all fields of study, and operates in more than 140 countries. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects and for English Teaching Assistant Programs, among other opportunities.

Basic Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be citizens or nationals of the United States of America at the time of the application deadline. Permanent residents are not eligible. Please review the Award Description in relation to the eligibility of dual citizens.
- Applicants must have a conferred bachelor's degree or equivalent before the start of the grant period.

To receive university endorsement, you must submit the Intent to Apply Form by May 31, by 11:59 pm EST and submit drafts of your Statement of Grant Purpose and the Personal Statement by August 8, at 11:59 pm EST.
- The GW nomination deadline is August 8, by 11:59 pm EST.
- If you are endorsed, you have the opportunity to revise your application based on endorsement committee feedback.

*Special Note: If you miss the GW nomination deadline, it is still appropriate for you to affiliate yourself with George Washington University instead of applying as an At-Large applicant.
