PA Campus/Community Risk Level for Week of October 19, 2020: RED/ORANGE
- Public health guiding principles: Campus, town, county, state data.
o Campus community members in isolation = 0
o Number of new positive test results = 0
o Campus testing positivity rate = 0.02%
o The town of Andover’s COVID-19 rate is stable from last week, and the risk level has remained at yellow.
o Massachusetts daily new cases is increasing: 9.6 confirmed cases per 100k residents (up from 4.1 cases per 100k on 9.10.20).
- Cohort 2 is still in arrival quarantine until further notice.
COVID-19 Testing:
- We have increased our testing frequency to twice per week. This is required for any student who is registered and accessing campus. Day students who cannot come to campus on 10.19.20 are excused.
- Monday: ALL STUDENTS
o No appointment needed.
o This test will be using saliva collected in an individual tube.
o Please do not eat/drink within 30 minutes prior to testing.
- Thursday/Friday: ALL STUDENTS
o You should have a weekly day/time to test for the rest of the term. Email actteam@andover.edu with any questions.
