I am excited to introduce our new strategic plan, UTA 2030: Shared Dreams, Bright Future. In celebration of its launch, I invite you to join us on March 5 from 2-4 p.m. at Brazos Park for our UTA 2030 Launch Party. This fun and engaging event will be a celebration for our entire community. You'll receive a copy of the plan, enjoy some great giveaway items, and participate in activities that showcase each of our strategic goals. I hope to see you there!

This plan is the culmination of the shared dreams and aspirations of our Maverick community that we have gathered over the last year and a half. Together, with UTA 2030 as our guide, we will chart a course that will elevate The University of Texas at Arlington to new heights and create a bright future for all.

It supports our vision to have a lasting impact on the communities we serve and is aligned with our values of collaboration, community of belonging, excellence, innovation, and integrity.

UTA 2030 is an exciting roadmap that continues our focus on UTA’s five strategic themes and the big goals we have set:

The goals we’ve set for UTA are ambitious and will take all of us working together to achieve them. This includes the support and engagement of our faculty, staff, students, and the larger community. As students, you play a vital role in the future success of UTA. The work you do to support the University today lays a stronger foundation for tomorrow. I encourage you to engage with student government, your faculty, and peers on how you can be an active part of helping us reach our dreams.
On our website, you will also find a feedback form where your ideas and thoughts are always welcome about our strategic plan. Our Institutional Strategic Planning Committee and senior leaders will be meeting regularly to work on implementation of our plan, and we will update you on UTA’s progress.
