Where is my Land | Legal Support Workshop | Oct. 30
Multicultural Center, 5th Floor of Casassa

PILF is hosting an event featuring Kavon Ward, founder, and CEO of Where Is My Land, who will discuss how her organization is seeking reparations on behalf of Black families that have had their land wrongfully taken from them, Kavon founded Justice for Bruce’s Beach to help return land wrongfully taken by the City of Manhattan Beach to the Bruce family. She will discuss opportunities for law students to work with her engaging in legal research to help Black families around the country in their reparations efforts.

Trick-or-Treat Around the World

International Candy Trick-or-Treat in the Multicultural Center. Student organizations are invited to bring candy from around the world to share with others. Small candy trays will be provided for candy placement. Email Alejandra at alejandra.hernandezperez@lls.edu for questions.
