Emily Ford is an experienced preservationist, conservator, and historian with strengths in cemetery preservation, materials conservation, and archival research. She has beeSaven active in cemetery preservation since 2009, focusing specifically on the unique cemeteries of southern Louisiana.
As the Cemetery Superintendent for the City of New Orleans, Emily administers and supervises the planning, operation, maintenance, and preservation of the municipal cemeteries. She will discuss the history, background, and preservation of these six unique cemeteries, with a focus on connecting families to their ancestral burial places.
