Happy Veterans Day!

Thank you to all the Veterans who have served our country! And thank you to those who continue to serve. We want to give a special shout out to one of our very own Downtown Tucson Partnership Ambassadors and United States Air Force Veteran, Harold Harris.

Harold Harris

Harold served for 10 years as an E-5 in the U.S. Air Force from 1985-1995, enlisting during his senior year in high school. He served in Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield. He did tours in Italy, Germany, Korea, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Panama, Colorado and finally Arizona, at Davis Monthan Air Force Base here in Tucson. His official job description was Electronics Computer & Switching Systems Specialist. He worked on mobile communications equipment in the field as well as remote radio relay sites, doing everything from component level troubleshooting and repair up to satellite tracking equipment maintenance. He was honored to have participated in the 2017 Tucson Veterans Day Parade.
