Meet Westminster's City Manager Finalist

The City of Westminster has selected Mark Freitag as its finalist for city manager after an extensive engagement process with the community and city staff.

“I am honored that City Council has selected me as Westminster's next City Manager, and I eagerly anticipate their approval. I look forward to having the opportunity of leading the city’s staff and serving the wonderful people of Westminster!” said Freitag.

Westminster City Council will vote on Freitag’s employment contract in open session at its next meeting on August 22, 2022.

Lane Reconfiguration at Sheridan/US 36 Interchange Beginning in Early September

Please be aware of the temporary lane reconfiguration at the Sheridan/US 36 interchange beginning in early September. While two lanes will remain open in both directions, please expect an impact to traffic flow as drivers adjust to the reconfiguration. This change will allow our crews to start construction on the eastern half of the new US 36 Bikeway Underpass. Learn more.

Zero Fare for Better Air During August

For the month of August, RTD will offer #ZeroFare across the entire system during Colorado’s high ozone season. Customers will NOT have to purchase mobile tickets or use fare products as RTD aims to help reduce ground level ozone by increasing the use of public transit. Learn more.
