October brings cooler air, fall festivals, and continued ways to make UA your home away from home. This month also moves us closer to mid-term of the semester, which can be a time filled with study sessions, an abundance of involvement opportunities, and feelings of missing home.
In Episode 2 of Campus Compass, First Year Navigators have an honest conversation about homesickness and the reality that many students experience it during their transition to college. You are encouraged to find your connection point with Tuscaloosa whether that is an organization, a person on campus, or an event that reminds you of home. Most importantly, we are reminded that it's okay to miss home while embracing all the opportunities college has to offer.
