Training Coming in October! |
October marks Cybersecurity Awareness Month, making it the perfect time to brush up on all the best practices for recognizing and avoiding scams, strengthening password security, the benefits of multi-factor authentication (MFA), and so much more.
Assignments for faculty and staff will be rolled out in October, and with it comes a new look for security awareness training! Modules will be a mix of word-on-screen, interactive and video elements, and will feature great information to help you navigate the evolving world of cybersecurity. Keep an eye out!

The participants will perform meaningful professional work connected to ND IT priorities and strategies. Fellows are embedded in various IT teams across campus where they gain experience, knowledge and the practical application of IT concepts.

New View in Google Drive
The new activity page shows pending access requests, recent comments, and approvals for files, allowing you to quickly view recent activity and take action, all in one place. Recent file shares are shown with information about who shared a file and when the file was shared.

Canvas Update to Threaded Replies in Discussions
On Monday, Sept. 16, instructors who use threaded discussions will see a new button at the top of their Discussions screen. This is in response to a recent Canvas update that inadvertently turned off threaded discussions. The button, which is being considered a “short term solution,” will give instructors the ability to reapply the threaded reply feature.
