Cookie Cake that says
Baby tiger standing up ready to hug you with a purple heart on his chest
Dear ECELP Families,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your patience and understanding as we have navigated this "new" normal together. We would like to thank the Parent Auxillary Council (PAC) for the staff appreciation lunch last month (and thank you to Christina Jordan for the cookie cake pictured above). We are thrilled to have your children back with us!

Modified Operating Hours. We remain in Phase II and are continuing to adhere to our modified operating hours of 7:30 AM-4:15 PM. This is in alignment with licensing mandates, which prohibit us from having additional people in the building.

Car Line. While we remain in Phase II, we will continue our car line drop off procedure each morning from 7:30-8:30 AM. We have one staff person assigned to each age group, so please be sure to follow the signs for the correct lane for your child's age group as this helps the line move quickly. If you have to put on masks or shoes, we ask that you pull over into one of the parking spots before coming into the line.

Health Exclusion Policy. Please review the Pandemic Health Precautions & Procedures document. At this time, we must exclude any child who exhibits symptoms of COVID-19. If your child has symptoms, he must stay home for a minimum of SEVEN days or THREE days after the symptoms resolve, whichever is longer. This exclusion also applies to siblings. We appreciate your patience as we adhere to our health exclusion criteria in order to keep children and staff safe and healthy.
We thank you for trusting us with your precious children!

PAC Update

ECELP Parent Auxiliary Council (PAC)
The PAC wants YOU to be part of our dynamic team!
As part of the PAC, you have the opportunity to:
  • Connect with other parents and families enrolled at the ECELP
  • Engage in conversations with teachers and staff about the needs, policies, and procedures of the ECELP
  • Participate in committees to support the overall  experience at the ECELP
  • Ensure the quality education for our children through the ECELP
  • Help shape the future of the ECELP

There are several opportunities to engage with the PAC. Consider serving on the executive board, a council committee, or as a room parent.

Be on the lookout for an announcement regarding our "Fall Family Welcome" where we'll introduce you to the PAC and provide information on how to get engaged with us! For any questions, please email pac@lsu.edu.
