Dream Job:

My dream job is to become a partner at an international investment firm. This way, I'd be able to travel to many incredible places and meet many entrepreneurs with exciting ideas that I could help support and grow, all while learning new things.

Dream Vacation:
Traveling to Australia. I would really love to snorkel or scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef because I would like to be able to see its beauty and colors before it deteriorates further.

Why should students at your school join RTSWS?
RTSWS introduces students to the different fields in finance and gets them thinking about what they might want to pursue. RTSWS helped me and my peers build resumes and gave us advice on how to set up a Linkedin profile to help make connections with other RTSWS students and find employers for future potential job opportunities. It's essential that people have a fundamental understanding of business, and this program offers that with a well-planned course.

What are you most excited for about RTSWS this year?

I am excited to improve my leadership skills, learn about how I can financially prepare for my future starting now, and am excited for the new connections I am going to make.

BLX Intern Information Session

November 2nd

The BLX Internship Program is an initiative to provide an opportunity to get visibility into what financial planning is all about. This program is designed to get your foot in the door to the profession, to learn about personal finance and gain real-world experience from participating firms.

Applications are now open for Summer 2023.

BLX matches Black and Latinx students and career changers with financial planning firms. If you are interested in a career in financial planning and want to learn more, register for their intern information session on Wednesday, November 2nd at 12:00 pm PT.

They will discuss results from their first cohort this summer, changes for the upcoming summer and the timeline for the application and matching process.
