It's Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Our Campus Advocate, Lorelei Ahlemeyer, has partnered with the Thetas at CSUMB to present these events for October's Domestic Violence Awareness Month:
October 1st - "Purple Out Domestic Violence," Thetas and Campus Advocate will be handing out Purple Gear for awareness. (Student Center, CSUMB)
October 7th - "Everyone's Issue," Thetas will be displaying stats on domestic violence and how it also affects men. (Student Center, CSUMB)
October 15th - "These Hands Don't Hurt," purple hand painting activities for awareness; discussion on domestic violence. (Student Center, CSUMB)
October 22nd - "Healthy Relationship Workshop" facilitated by Campus Advocate Lorelei Ahlemeyer and Suicide Prevention Coordinator Allen McClleland. (Student Center, West Lounge, CSUMB)
October 30th - "Candlelight Vigil for Domestic Violence Victims" at 8pm (Main Quad Area, CSUMB)
