Volunteer Opportunities

Munson Medical Center Emergency Department Seeking Volunteers!

Munson Medical Center Emergency Department is looking for volunteers to greet our patients, round in the waiting room and patient rooms, and fill a variety of other roles.

Mary Free Bed Volunteer Program

This program is ideal for undergraduate students seeking insight into their chosen careers in physical, occupational, or recreational therapies in a hospital setting.

Primary responsibilities include assisting with cleaning and organizing therapy gyms and helping to set up before and after therapy sessions

Students are expected to volunteer on the same day each week for a 13- to 15-week session. Volunteer shifts are three to four hours long; the average student receives 40 to 50 hours per session.

Student volunteers can receive an average of 10-15 observation-specific hours during their 40-50 hours of volunteering. However, this is not guaranteed.
