CA State Fair Food Festival To-Go May 29 Pre-orders Now Open
First Pre-Order for May 22 Sells Out in Less than 48 hours
Sacramento, Calif. – The California State Fair is continuing its popular Fair Food Festival To-Go program and is now taking pre-orders for its delicious May 29 offerings.
Announced last week, pre-orders for the May 22 menu sold out in less than 48 hours. Fair fans who placed an order last week will be able to pick up their food at the California Letters this Friday, May 22 at Cal Expo in front of the California Letters from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Cal Expo is inviting local media to cover the event.

WHY: After cancelling the 2020 CA State Fair & Food Festival, fairgoers and Sacramento residents have expressed how much they miss Fair food. After selling out its first menu offering, Cal Expo announced a second menu offering for May 29 pick-up.
HOW: Cal Expo and Spectra have taken extra precautions to make this event safe. All food service will follow health department guidelines. Guests will pull up next to the California Letters at Cal Expo’s Main Gate. Guests will be required to remain in their car and open their trunk or passenger door. A Spectra team member will handle food placement.
For May 29 menu items, guests must pre-order their meals by Tuesday, May 26 at 11:59 pm. Guests are encouraged to submit their pre-order early as there are a limited number of meals and no meals for purchase day-of.
