The exhibition Ecole du soir (The Evening School) offers visitors multiple opportunities to connect, exchange, and be inspired. • On February 27, NYU Shanghai-ECNU Center on Global History, Economy and Culture (GHEC) organized a lecture entitled "The Unerasable Memory: Revisiting China's Road to the Korean War" by Shen Zhihua, a renowned Cold War historian who is also GHEC co-director and Professor of History at ECNU. NYU Shanghai's Assistant Professor of Philosophy Yuan Yuan served as Shen's commentator, and Chen Jian, GHEC co-director and Distinguished Global Network Professor of History, moderated the session. In his lecture, which attracted more than 130 community members, Professor Shen shared new perspectives on the origins and consequences of the Korean war with the audience, highlighting how to better understand the Korean challenge facing the world today.

• The IMB Mentorship Series kicked off the year with an event about navigating the intersection of media and finance. On February 27, Assistant Professor of Interactive Media Business (IMB) Wang Jing invited Yicai Media Group Deputy Chief Editor of Global Markets Ge Weier to speak on " Media Professions in the World of Finance and Business." An established journalist and editor, Ge represents Yicai in working with US and European financial institutions and media outlets, including NYSE, Nasdaq, IMF, CES, MSCI, and Associated Press.
