Indigenous Peoples Day at UNT
   NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH   
November is Native American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the culture, history and contributions of Tribal Nations.
From art to agriculture, culture and music, Indigenous people have had an invaluable impact on society. Learn about Native American organizations on campus and join the celebration as all UNT dining halls serve a special Native American Heritage Month lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13.

   SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY   
If you’re not graduating before Fall 2025, apply for the Ricco Ethics Scholarship to explore ethical questions within your field. Open to undergraduates and graduates, the scholarship awards a $5,000 first-place prize for each category, with a potential second-place prize for undergraduates. 

Submit a 1,000-word essay on the chosen case study by Monday, Dec. 2. Check the eligibility requirements and guidelines to learn more.

In celebration of National First Generation Student Week, the First Generation Success Center is hosting First Gen Fest
Join the fun from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, on the Library Mall for music, giveaways, free T-shirts and a resource fair tailored to first generation students.

Lauren Groff, author of The Monsters of Templeton, Arcadia, Fates and Furies, and Matrix, will visit UNT at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, in the University Union Lyceum for a lecture, Q&A and book signing as part of the 120th season of the Mary Jo and V. Lane Rawlins Fine Arts Series. Tickets are free for UNT students.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
   DRIVE-IN MOVIE NIGHT   
Feeling festive and looking for a fun Friday night activity? Join UPC and The Center for Belonging and Engagement for a drive-in movie screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas at 7 p.m. Nov. 8, in Lot 59. Find a parking spot, bring a blanket and grab some free popcorn!
