LEAP Week: April 29-May 2 Grades 3-5
Our students are fully prepared to do great on these tests. They have been working hard all year and now is their time to shine. To ensure they are having their best days, please make sure your child:
-gets a good nights rest.
-eats a healthy breakfast.
-arrives to school early/on-time each morning.

LEAP
Important Information Regarding Middle School LEAP Testing ULS will administer the Middle School LEAP Test to all students at 7:45 a.m. on April 28th – May 2
Students are asked to be present and to arrive on time to take their assigned tests each day. Please note that 8th grade students must score at least “basic” in either ELA or math and “approaching basic” in the other subject to be promoted to the 9th grade. On test day, students should arrive on time and come prepared with the following items:
1.Two, sharpened pencilsÂ
2. Four-function calculator for grades 6 and 7 only
3. Optional wristwatch to keep track of time (must not beep or have internet access)
4. Pleasure reading book
All other belongings, including cell phones and smart watches, should be left in the students’ lockers or in the hallway. Parents and students are encouraged to visit the Parent Guide to the LEAP Practice Tests to review the format of the test and tools embedded within it. For questions, please contactÂ

 Important Information Regarding HS LEAP Testing |
ULS will administer the high school LEAP tests at 7:45 a.m. each day listed below. To maintain a secure and distraction free testing environment, we ask that students do not check out prior to the dismissal time. Likewise, students should make every effort to be on time and to be at school. Not only are these tests required to graduate, but they also count towards the student’s final grade.
• Wednesday, April 23rd – 12:30 p.m. dismissal U.S. History & Civics LEAP
• Wednesday, May 7th – 12:30 p.m. dismissal for high school students Algebra I & Geometry LEAP
On test day, students should arrive rested and prepared with the following items:
1) Two, sharpened pencils
2) Graphing calculator (recommended) or scientific calculator for math tests only
3) Optional wristwatch to keep track of time (must not beep or have internet access)
4) Optional snack (no nuts)
5) Optional pleasure reading
All other belongings, including cell phones and smart watches, should be left in the students’ lockers or in the hallway.
Parents and students are encouraged to visit the Parent Guide to the LEAP Practice Tests for information regarding the format and the tools embedded of the test.

 Athletic Physicals Information |
Please be aware that starting in the Fall of 2025, all athletes, grades 6-12, will be required to have a completed physical on file with the coach of their respective sport. Please use the opportunity that BROC is offering to all 6-12 grade students on May 10th for a free physical that will be good for the 2025-2026 school year.
