TIPQC Summer Regional Learning Sessions
The TIPQC Regional Learning Sessions concluded on June 17.  Over 147 participants in all 5 perinatal regions heard updates on state-wide TIPQC projects, shared lessons learned from local project experience, and learned new reflective quality improvement tools to accelerate their QI work.  For additional information see: http://tipqc.org/meetings/regional-meetings/.
Team-Based Reflection Tools
Reflection is an important tool in quality improvement.  Individuals and teams can employ reflective strategies to build awareness and develop strategies for improvement, regardless if this is a new project or a project in sustainment.  Through the work of the Vermont Oxford Network – NICQ7, and shared by permission, a team-based reflective tool focusing on Personal, Social, and Structural changes can help guide teams and individuals as they strive to motivate and enable improvement.   During the Summer Regional Learning Sessions, teams found invaluable insights as well as potential “opportunities for improvement” as they brainstormed and strategized through this series of reflective questions.
Tennessee Maternal and Child Health Survey
Opportunity to provide input on TN MCH services and MCH target populations and identify areas of strength, weakness, and opportunity for MCH programming, available from the TN Department of Health.   The survey can be accessed by clicking here. This is your opportunity to help guide MCH programming for TDH and to give feedback on services available in TN for the MCH population no later than July 7.

OPQC/VON Meeting
The Ohio Perinatal Quality Collaborative (OPQC) Learning Session was the site of the Vermont Oxford State Collaborative Leaders meeting in June, attended by over 400 physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, and state government leaders, as well as 7 state quality collaboratives.  The meeting highlighted the OPQC NAS project as well as the ANS and Progesterone Projects. Teams shared PDSA cycles around projects, heard from regional medical experts, attended workshops, and reviewed their own data in order to plan the next phase of their project.
