STRONGER TOGETHER UPDATE: November 7, 2022
Welcome to our special Veterans Day/Month edition of Stronger Together Update. Along with other news, see what we're doing, who we're spotlighting and how you can help us share in our kudos and recognition for our veteran employees and students. As always, we welcome your input and feedback at strongertogether@stonybrook.edu.

We Recognize Our Veterans

While we recognize the contributions of our Veteran population all year long, this Friday, November 11, is Veterans Day and the entire month of November is designated National Veterans and Military Families Month. So this is a special time for our country  — and University — to honor the strength and sacrifices of the families, caregivers and survivors of our Veterans and current service members.
Submit your personal Veteran story/experience below, through Stronger with YOU

Stronger with YOU

As we continue this series, we're reaching out this time to our Veterans right here at SBU. Specifically, we'd like to know: How has your military experience shaped your experience at Stony Brook?
And even if you're not a Veteran, please feel free to share your, or a colleague's or fellow student's, inspiring story with us.

Submit your story here. And remember, it may be featured in an upcoming speech by President McInnis and/or in SBU communications. You could also receive SBU merchandise just for submitting!

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, facilitated or in some way helped shine a spotlight on this year's Employee Wellness & Benefits Fair. It was a great success thanks to all of you! Please take a look at the SBU News article. And ... if you had the opportunity to attend, let us know what you thought via this survey. Your input will help us respond to your preferences for future fairs. It should only take 2-3 minutes to complete. Your feedback is voluntary and confidential, unless you request otherwise.
