What to Expect:
Fall 2026 Priority Registration |
Priority Registration for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 begins on April 13. This year, instead of using myOleMiss, you’ll register using Experience, the university’s new academic portal.

| Where You Will Register in Experience |
When registration opens, you’ll use the Registration Self-Service card to search for and register for classes. This card will become available after April 6.
More detailed information and guidance will be shared soon!

- A Self-Service Process
In Experience, you will register yourself for all courses. Advisors and departments will no longer enroll students on their behalf (including for waitlists or overrides). - Course Numbers Are Changing
Courses now follow a new numbering format. This Course Crosswalk will help you match old course numbers to the new ones as you prepare. - Time Tickets
You will be assigned a time ticket that tells you when you can register during Priority Registration. Once it opens, you can register at any time through the add/drop deadline, as long as you have no holds. - Registration PIN
You will receive a six-digit PIN (an access code) from your academic advisor or department before registration. Watch your email and save it once you receive it. - Holds
Some holds, such as the account receivable holds (from the Office of the Bursar), can prevent you from registering. You’ll be able to check for holds in Experience before your time ticket opens. - Plan Ahead
You will be able to build a draft schedule in advance using Plan Ahead (anticipated launch: April 6), so you’re ready when registration begins.

Summer registration continues in myOleMiss and is currently open!
If you’re planning to take summer classes, now is a great time to go ahead and register.
Take care of your student account.
If you have an outstanding balance, we encourage you to take care of it now to avoid registration holds. A new billing statement will be available on April 15.
