Fall 2021 is here and we are excited to have our students back on campus! Make sure you have confirmed your course schedule and are clear on course expectations. Also, make sure you are up-to-date on information for the Healthy Together Plan

Important Dates
August 23 - Fall semester classes begin and deadline to submit "Fall 2021 Study Plan Confirmation" in InterLink. Review Planning for Fall 2021 on the ISSS webpage. 
August 25 (at 11:59pm)- Registration/Change of schedule via Bannerweb ends. 
September 6 - No classes (Labor Day Holiday)

For any interested new or returning international students, meet at the International Student Center (MacMillan Hall, 017)  at 3:00 to tour our beautiful campus and visit campus offices and departments that can offer valuable support. 
You can enjoy a taste of MAP events across Miami's campus! Events include a hip-hop roller skate, crafts, dodgeball, ninja warrior course, rock wall, planting succulents with the Crawfords, food, and fireworks!

As always, students can send questions to or schedule an ISSS advising appointment for questions/issues that may need to be discussed in detail.
We are also pleased to announce that ISSS will be holding drop-in advising hours at the following times:  
  • Mondays and Tuesdays, 9-11am (ET)
  • Wednesdays and Thurdays, 2-4 pm (ET)
Students can meet with an advisor for quick questions. Come to the International Student Center, MacMillan Hall, 017 (enter through the MacMillan Hall parking lot, middle doors) OR connect virtually via Zoom during the times listed above:

ISSS encourages Miami University and local community members to connect with people from all over the world to develop new perspectives in the spirit of fellowship and appreciation for cultural difference. Read our tips for communicating across cultures.

Global Neighbors connects international students with Oxford community members and Miami faculty/staff.
Priority will be given to international students who are new to the U.S. and Miami, but all are encouraged to sign up and can be connected as other particpants become available.
