The St. Joe Company, Florida State University, and Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare celebrated the construction kickoff Tuesday of a healthcare campus in Panama City Beach that will bring together clinicians, researchers, and students to meet the rapidly increasing need for medical care in the Florida Panhandle.

To keep the economy booming in the future, the state needs to create 2 million more jobs by 2030, something the Department of Education is working to do with one local school right now.

Danfoss is searching for candidates interested in the CNC Machining Intern program, an opportunity to complete a Pre-Apprenticeship course at Tallahassee Community College that will lead directly to a 3-month internship. (The Pre-Apprenticeship course is at no cost to candidates selected for the program). This position works under the direction of experienced machinists to learn the trade of CNC machining.
