| The Department of Mathematics hosted the 7th Annual Meeting of SIAM Texas-Louisiana Section successfully during October 11-13, 2024. This conference attracted 323 participants and speakers from 74 institutions and industrial companies.

The Math Department is excited to announce the addition of new faculty and staff members. Joining us are Postdoctoral Research Fellow Dr. Adam Christopherson and Lecturer of Mathematics Dr. Matthew Kroesche. We are also pleased to welcome Ms. Esther Grays as the new Undergraduate Program Coordinator.
