Street Improvement Update

Looking for information on street construction projects in your neighborhood? Visit the Cone Zone webpage for information on projects throughout the city.

In the spring, our Public Works and Utilities team gets busy repairing, maintaining, and repaving our roads. In March, you will see crews out filling cracks in the pavement. Crack sealing is a cost-effective way to help extend the life of the city’s streets. As early as April, we will begin repaving more than 80 lane miles of road through Westminster. The repaving process includes grinding down parts of the visible roadway, making repairs, laying new asphalt, and painting new striping on the street for a safe and smooth ride.
