Class of 2025: The points entry deadline for the class of 2025 is July 15. All points for graduated students must be entered by this date. National Tournament points will be added for you if applicable. We will remind you again in July.
Service Points: Students who earn and enter 200 points in a given school year are eligible for the Speaking and Service Award. These points must be entered by July 31 for students to be eligible for the 2024-2025 award!
Diamonds and Service Awards: The cutoff for coaches to be recognized at Nationals for Diamonds or Distinguished Coaching Awards is May 15, so enter any lingering points or citations if you're close to your next award! Learn more about coach awards »

Are You Prepared for REAL ID Requirements?
|
If your team is flying to a tournament this spring, are you prepared for REAL ID requirements? These rules go into effect tomorrow, May 8, and U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights, or have a passport or other qualifying document. If your team is flying soon, start assessing your readiness and making a plan now!

National Tournament Judge Grants Now Available!
|
To strengthen our judge pool for the 2025 National Tournament, we are offering a limited number of National Tournament Judge Grants. These grants are designed to help offset the costs of travel, lodging, and meals for judges not currently planning to attend Nationals. Selected judges will be responsible for arranging their own travel using the awarded funds.
- Eligibility: Active coaches listed on the roster of an active member school.
- Deadline: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all funds are awarded. No grants will be awarded after May 23.

National Tournament Topics
|
Topics for Nationals are live! Start preparing if you're headed to Des Moines this summer, or use the topics or themes in your final practices or classes of the year. The Congress docket will be available May 15.
Do you love thinking about debate topics? We're currently asking for feedback on the potential LD and PF topics for the 2025-2026 season! Respond yourself or invite your students to review and weigh in.

Prepay Your NSDA Membership for Next Year
|
If you have funds remaining in this year's speech and debate budget, you can prepay for next year's school membership through July 31, 2025! Your account will be credited and you can apply it beginning in August. You can also take advantage of the discounted Resource Package. To generate an invoice to prepay:

Log in to your Account.
- Visit the School Purchases tab.

Toggle on your desired options for Prepaid School Membership Dues and/or Prepaid Early Bird Resource Package at the top, and/or Prepaid Student Memberships toward the bottom.
- Select Create Invoice and Proceed to Checkout.

Pay the invoice by credit card, ACH payment, purchase order, or check. Please note: Prepaid memberships are not refundable or transferable. The credits must be used for the type of membership indicated at checkout, not other team expenses.
