LLS Wiffle Ball Classic Returns to Field with Student Team Win!

Dean Michael Waterstone's annual LLS Faculty/Staff v. Student Wiffle Ball Classic game returned last week for the first time in three seasons. The epic matchup showcased the top fielding and hitting prospects at the law school. The student team pulled out a victory, going home with the storied Wiffle Ball Classic Championship Trophy (pictured). Produced by the Office of Student Affairs, the major league event included a smorgasbord of salty and sweet concessions and a vocal crowd of fans. Congrats, student victors!

RISE Clinic Hosts Criminal Justice Reform Symposium

The Rights in Systems Enforced (RISE) Clinic will host a symposium in honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) this Wednesday, April 20 from 1-5 p.m. The event is part of a week led by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments in the victims’ rights movement as well as an opportunity to reflect on the importance of helping crime survivors find justice. Campus Updates

Westchester Campus Alerts Going to LLS Community

Issues related to the system that runs the LMU Alert and LLS Alert systems are deploying alerts intended for the Westchester campus community to the entire university. This means that users who opted-in to receive only LLS campus alerts are also receiving Westchester alerts. LLS community members who are opted-in to receive alerts from both campuses should not be experiencing any issues. An update will be provided when available.

Scheduling Software Updates For Westchester Campus

References in LMU This Week about updates to campus scheduling software, Mazevo, are applicable only to the Westchester campus. The law school will continue to use 25Live for event scheduling.
