Recent announcements seem to indicate that many of the travel restrictions on entry into the U.S. will be lifted in November 2021. However, the COVID-19 vaccination, which will be mandatory at Miami by Monday, October 25, 2021, may also be required for U.S. entry and impact travel, reentry or first time entry to the U.S. Please note that specific guidelines have not yet been announced, but ISSS encourages international students who may be planning to travel outside the U.S. or have friends/family planning to visit from outside the U.S., to consider forthcoming updates to travel regulations and pay attention to communications from international@MiamiOH.edu for travel updates.
Also, any international student planning to travel outside the U.S. should make sure to review the Traveling Outside the U.S. ISSS webpage for the required documents for U.S. reentry at least one month before your departure.
