NEW: Teaching Advocacy to Students
|
Speech and debate teaches students the power of their voices and to use them to speak up for what they believe in. In these new lessons, students identify an issue in their community and work in groups to develop and enact a solution. This release is part of our celebration of National Speech and Debate Education Day (this Friday!) and highlights the impact that the skills students learn in this activity can have on not only them, but the world around them. Check out an excerpt, explore the full unit, or make a plan to celebrate with your team on Friday!
