Marketing great ideas
This summer – and despite the roiling COVID-19 pandemic – students in the Collins College of Business energetically worked with an array of companies and nonprofits in Tulsa and surrounding communities. “We had the opportunity to put creative ideas into action to test our own skills while benefiting a local firm, which is rewarding in two ways,” said MBA student Danny Donley.

From student to teacher with an English degree
Zachary Harvat (BA ’13) graduated TU with a double major in English and women’s and gender studies. Today, he’s at the head of the class, teaching at a prestigious private school just outside the nation’s capital. “English is timeless and gives you a set of skills that are going to be useful no matter what field you go into. Bosses everywhere need people who can communicate well, who can think critically, who can participate and who respect others.”

Feeling the love
The University of Tulsa has again been listed in The Princeton Review’s guidebook The Best 386 Colleges. Only 13% of the four-year colleges in the United States are included in this influential publication. Two of the things students love about TU: small classes and faculty who go the extra mile.
