WHITE HOUSE DETAILS STOPGAP FUNDING PRIORITIES
The Biden administration has asked Congress to consider a range of funding exceptions, or “anomalies,” in its upcoming continuing resolution, including $2.4 billion to support federal student aid services. The requests arrive as Congress is scheduled to return to work on September 9, with three weeks remaining until federal funding expires at the end of this month.
