The Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (CID) Board of Directors will convene for its meeting on August 14 at 7:30 a.m. at Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta.

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners has taken a significant step toward improving mobility for residents.

The board recently approved a transit referendum to be placed on the November 5 General Election ballot. If approved by voters, a 1% sales tax to fund up to 75 transit projects in Gwinnett County will be imposed for 30 years.

The transit projects include an airport ride to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the expansion of micro transit providing 100% countywide coverage and more.
