Dress Code Reminder:

We would like to remind everyone of the importance of adhering to our school's dress code. The dress code is in place to ensure a respectful and focused learning environment for all students. We appreciate your cooperation in following the dress code, which helps maintain a positive and productive atmosphere at school. If you have any questions or need clarification, please feel free to contact the school administration.

Lost & found. The lost and found box is located in the main office. Please note that due to storage limitations, the box will be emptied at the end of each school week.

Yearbook Photo Retake Request Form. If your student did not take a photo on prep days (middle/high) or the first days of school (elementary) they will take a make-up picture; therefore, it is not necessary to submit this form. 

If your student took a photo on prep days or the first day of school, but would like a retake, please complete and submit this form. If the form is not submitted, your student will not be called for a retake.

Congratulations to senior, Adam Carruth, on being named a 'Standout Student' by BRProud. Over the summer, Adam presented his project at the London International Youth Science Forum.

Reminder: If you drive up after the bell rings at 7:45 and the doors are closed and there are no teachers outside, please park and walk your child into the main office. For the safety of your children, DO NOT drop them off unattended.

Come join our UHS Cheerleaders for Little Cubs Cheer Camp! The camp clinic will be held on Saturday, September 14th from 12:30 - 3:30 with a parent showcase at 3:15. Participants will receive a camp shirt and the chance to perform at a high school halftime show. The Big Performance will take place on Thursday, September 26. Registration is $40.

LSU Lab School Gameday Security Policies:

Security checkpoints. Metal detectors will be used for everyone entering the main gates at Cub Complex and wands will be used for everyone entering the drive thru gates. Metal detectors and/or wands will be used at all events in the school gymnasiums.  

Clear bag policy. This policy will be implemented starting with the Catholic High Varsity home football game. Clear bags should be no larger than 12” x 6” x 12.” 

No re-entry. Tickets will be non-refundable, non-transferable, and no re-entry will be allowed.  Anyone who leaves the stadium during the game will not be allowed to re-enter without paying for an additional ticket. 

No unattended students. Any student in grades K – 8 will not be admitted unless they are accompanied by a guardian or responsible party.  

Group ticketing. If you purchase multiple tickets together, everyone in your party will need to be present to enter.  

No sideline access. Sideline access is limited to the team, support staff, spirit groups, and school administrators.  

Media Credential Policy. We will be implementing a new media credential policy.  New media will be required to show credential and should contact the Athletic Department to gain access. Commercial photographers and videographers will not be allowed on the sidelines.

Have You Signed Up for Cub Club? The Cub Club is a volunteer group of parents whose mission is to connect and to involve parents, faculty and staff through the promotion of membership and volunteerism and to provide resources and services to enhance the University Laboratory School community.
