| We are half way through October, which means the days are getting shorter and the temps are getting cooler. We have already had a our first glimpses of over night frost, which means our first days of snowmaking are getting closer!

Many of you have started to get notifications prompting you to complete LIFT training sessions. Prior to jumping into those, ensure that you have reset your password for the season on Epic Employee. Login using the same username you had last year (contact your manager if you are unable to locate this information) and the generic password: P$wdDDMMYY (where DDMMYY is your birthday). Once logged-in, it will prompt you to set a new password for the season.

We are hosting our annual Welcome Back Webinar this Wednesday, October 19, from 6pm to 7pm. Please use this link to access the webinar. This is a paid mandatory event for all SIS employees.
We are very are excited to announce the return of our annual In Person Welcome Back training. This will take place on Saturday, 11/5 from 9am-12pm. This will be a paid mandatory event for all prospective SIS employees

Thank you to everyone who has completed their intent to return forms. If you have not had a chance yet, please take a few moments to let us know if you will be returning this season by filling out this form (password: 2021snow). We need to have your responses by Sunday October 23rd and if we have not heard from you by this date, we will be removing you from our active staff list. If you change your mind after this date, you will need to reapply and start the hire process from the beginning.

Schedule Request for the Season |
It is time to submit your calendar for the 2022-23 season, using the link below or by clicking here. This form is for all employment status types, whether you are interested in full-time or part-time. The season is just about a month away and we need to have these schedules submitted by November 5th.
Requests for each day throughout the season are limited this year. You will see this number listed on each day you select for you preferred schedule. This number will change with availability to meet our scheduling needs. Once a day is full, it will not be an option for your schedule.
You will receive an email copy of your responses after hitting the green submit button, please keep this for your records.

Foliage Season Help Wanted |
We are gearing up for a busy 6 weeks, with bus tours and weddings planned throughout the season! If you are looking for hours, F&B is looking for help. This opportunity is available for all active and SIS employees. Coleman Brook Tavern needs: servers, bussers/runners, and support/dishwashers. Contact William Mordecai if interested.
Banquets is also seeking servers and bartenders for September 3rd & 24th and October 1st and 15th. Contact Ali Ulrich if interested.

Strategic Partnership Between Vail Resorts and Telluride

We are continuing our strategic partnership with Telluride Ski Resort. Epic Pass, Epic 4-7 Day Pass (with all resort access) and Epic Adaptive Pass guests can continue to ski and ride Telluride located in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The partnership also extends to you, our team members, with discounted access to Telluride! For the winter 2022-23 season, Vail Resorts teams members and their dependents can continue to purchase lift tickets for your personal use at Telluride for $50 a day.
