Facility Improvements for Summer 2027 |
This year, we're making significant investments in camper and staff comfort and program space across camp.
Camp-Wide Cabin Ventilation
Every cabin at Pinemere will receive upgraded ventilation. We're replacing all existing ceiling fans and installing new ones in cabins that don't currently have them. Each cabin will also get an exhaust fan with a temperature gauge installed, which will pull hot air out and lower cabin temperatures on hot days.
A Renovated Bathhouse for the Village
The Palace, the bathhouse serving the Village (7th–9th grade boys), is being fully renovated and expanded with increased capacity, new plumbing and all-new fixtures:
-Showers increase from 8 to 12, each with its own changing area
-Toilets increase from 8 to 14
-Sinks increase from 6 to 8
-A designated cubby for every camper and staff member to store toiletries
New Homes for Gaga and Ninja Warrior
We've renovated the Gaga pit and moved it next to the Green, and relocated the Ninja Warrior Course outdoors next to the basketball and tennis courts. These moves open up the entire Field House for an expanded Gymnastics Program this summer.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to these improved spaces next summer!
Thank You to our former Director of Facilities & Maintenance, Kevin Murphy, who started at Pinemere in 2015. The improvements Kevin has made to camp over the past decade have been an integral part to Pinemere's growth & success. We look forward to our new Director of Facilities & Maintenance, Greg Campbell, and Assistant Director of Facilities, Keith Lewis, joining the Full Time Team this year! Pinemere is so lucky to have Greg and Keith in keeping Pinemere thriving for generations to come!

Staff Interview Season
Thank you so much to our incredible Staff of 2026! The Pinemere Professional Team couldn't be prouder of the hard work, endless hours and constant love & support put in by our 150+ staff members! Our Summer Staff Team is composed of Supervisors, Camper Care, Health Center, Counselors, Early Childhood, Kitchen, Office, Maintenance, and Security.
We are excited with the overwhelming amount of staff who have already completed their 2027 Staff Applications! The interview process has officially begun!!! International Staff that are interested in returning for Summer 2027 should apply first through Pinemere's website, and set up an interview as well.
Once you complete your application, a member of the Pinemere Team will be in touch with you to begin the interview process. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Aaron@pinemere.com.

REFERRAL PROGRAM FOR SUMMER 2027
Pinemere Families who refer a friend will receive $1,000 OFF Tuition!
Refer additional families & receive $1,500 OFF Tuition.
In order to officially start the Referral process, you must first complete the Referral Form.
In order to receive the referral credit, the Referred Families can not already be in our system through another camp agency or referral.
Also, if you would be interested in hosting a Pizza Parlor meeting at your home for your friends & family who would like to learn more about CAMP, please reach out to Linz@pinemere.com. Linz is happy to travel ANY distance to chat with interested families about Pinemere. Hosting a Parlor Meeting is another great way to get tuition credit!!!

Physician's Examination & Immunization Forms |
Form is ACTIVE on CampInTouch!
The Director of Camp Experience, LINZ, will be emailing you later this year information about all the FORMS you need to complete for Summer 2027.
Available right now is the Physician's Examination & Immunization Form. (***New This Summer: Valid if completed during June 2026-May 2027) Once this form is completed by the Physician, you will upload it into Forms & Documents in CampInTouch.
Your Camper's Physician's Exam needs to be completed within June 2026- May 2027 to be valid for this upcoming summer!
You should upload BOTH Forms directly to your camper's CampInTouch account. Both Forms need to be on ONE PDF to be uploaded correctly.
It's OK to use a different exam & immunization forms from YOUR doctor, as long as it has the same information as Pinemere's forms.

Jewish Education in our Communities |
Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) is conducting a national survey to better understand how families make decisions about their children’s education and the factors and barriers that shape decisions around Jewish Day School. We are looking to hear from Jewish parents of school-aged children (Pre-K–12) who currently do not send one or more of their children to a Jewish Day School.
Whether your child is in preschool, public school, or private school today, your experience and perspective are invaluable and will help Jewish organizations, schools, Federations, and other community leaders better understand what matters to families and inform future approaches to Jewish education. Thank you for sharing your perspective!

The new family gallery, Colors of Creation at The Weitzman, uses interactive projections, responsive sound, concert-style lighting, and large-scale visuals to transform a familiar story into a shared experience of wonder. The family fun continues in The Lab, a tactile, hands-on play and discovery space that extends the themes of color, creation, pattern, and imagination through open-ended activities. A Letter from our Executive Director,
Aaron Singer:
Dear Pinemere Families,
I'm thrilled to write to you for the first time as Pinemere's Executive Director. I first came to Pinemere as a second-generation camper in 2000, and leading this community has been my dream since I was a 17-year-old counselor in Bunk 1.
What makes Pinemere special is the friendships that start in a cabin and last a lifetime, the traditions passed from one generation to the next, and the way campers leave each summer a little braver, kinder, and more confident. I've seen that magic up close for 24 summers, and I'm committed to protecting and growing it.
Our team just spent time together at camp debriefing Summer 2026 and planning for 2027, Pinemere's 85th summer. Major upgrades are already underway, including added ceiling and exhaust fans in every cabin, a brand-new, expanded Palace in the Village, and improved program areas. We're also looking at adding new out-of-camp trips and bringing new programs to camp. As we work on these things, we'll be sure to keep you updated on what's new for 2027!
Thank you all for the incredible support over these past several months. Your encouragement and trust during this interim period meant more than you know. I'm so lucky to be surrounded by the best team in camping: Linz, Jeremy, Greg, and Keith, who are true partners in building this amazing community.
