Regional Innovation Engine for Sustainable Agricultural Development in Wisconsin |
WiSys, an independent, nonprofit supporting organization for the UW System advancing scientific research throughout the state, received an NSF grant to create a Regional Innovation Engine for Sustainable Agricultural Development in Wisconsin.
Michael Holly and John Arendt, regional partners at UW-Green Bay, plan to contribute to the engine in the areas of sustainable land and resource management, improved waste management, and technologies for protection of water quality through inspired research and development, translation of technology, and workforce development. They are identifying the relevant stakeholders in Wisconsin, so the right people are at the table.
If you would like to suggest potential governmental, NGO, industry, and crop consultants for the list of stakeholders, please email them at arendtjo@uwgb.edu or hollym@uwgb.edu. The deadline is Oct. 31.
