You made it through registration day—congrats! The first four rounds begin on Monday, and we're confident that you and your students will have a good experience. Enjoy the competition, and best of luck!

We hope you had a chance to join us Sunday morning for the New Coach Reception. The Board of Directors and our staff had a great time getting to meet you and hopefully answered all of the questions you had. Reminders for a Successful Day One
Questions? Visit the Bud Room in your respective building. Locations can be found on page 83 of the Tournament Book.
Ribbons » Please remind your students, judges, and coaches to wear the appropriate ribbons distributed during tournament registration. These ribbons are required throughout the tournament.
Judges » Make sure your judges arrive at their assigned rooms 15 minutes prior to the start of the round.
Building Maps » To help navigate the National Tournament, look up individual school maps using the Nats16 Guidebook app, or download a complete PDF packet by clicking here.
Monday Morning Events » All main speech and debate events begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., with Extemp Draw starting at 8:30 a.m. in the Alta HS Gym. All students should be in their assigned buildings early to ensure they can navigate the school and get to their competition rooms before the strict forfeit rule.
CX Ballot Pick Up Notice » Before each of the first six rounds, the first affirmative in Policy Debate MUST pick up a ballot envelope from the CX ballot table located in Hillcrest HS and take the ballot to the round.
LD Ballot Pick Up Notice » Before each of the first six rounds, the first affirmative in Lincoln-Douglas Debate MUST pick up TWO ballot envelopes from the LD ballot table located in Butler MS and take the ballots to the round.
PF Ballot Pick Up Notice » Before each of the first six rounds, the team listed on the left hand side of the Public Forum schedule MUST pick up TWO ballot envelopes from the PF ballot table located in Brighton HS and take the ballots to the round.

Note: All speech ballots are delivered to the competition rooms.
