The Office of Graduate Student Assistantships and Fellowships is excited to be hosting several upcoming events related to external funding opportunities.

NSF GRFP Info Session and Workshop |
Wednesday, September 13th | 11:00am - 3:00pm (lunch provided)
University Student Center, Grand Ballroom, 3rd floor
Registration closes on Sunday, September 10th

|
The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program application cycle is open! We are hosting an information session and a workshop for eligible students interested in applying for the current application cycle. Students are highly encouraged to attend both sessions.
Virtual Information Session and In-Person NSF GRFP Workshop
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
|

Be a US citizen, US national, or permanent resident
- Intend to pursue a research-based Master’s or Ph.D. program in a GRFP-supported field
- Have completed no more than one academic year of full-time graduate study (or the equivalent)

|
International students are not eligible for the NSF GRFP fellowship, and workshop is limited to eligible students. We welcome you to attend the graduate fellowship application night on September 26th to identify other funding opportunities you can take advantage of.

Boren Fellowship Information Session |

- Interested in learning a critical language?
- Interested in a federal service career?
- Interested in research or internships abroad?
|
Join us to learn about the Boren Fellowship, which funds up to $30,000 for language study, research, or internships abroad. This session is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
