| Bolton Recognized as a 2025 Georgia Titan 100 |
Shantay N. Bolton, executive vice president for Administration and Finance and chief business officer, has been recognized as a 2025 Georgia Titan 100. As a distinguished leader in higher education, this marks her second time receiving the Titan 100 honor, having first been named a St. Louis Titan in 2023.

Chilled Water System Updates Continue |
Teams in Infrastructure and Sustainability (I&S) continue to make progress on repairing and updating the chilled water distribution system (i.e. the system that cools campus buildings). The next planned outage will be conducted on Feb. 19 and 20, and it is expected to be limited in time span and scope.

| Students Are Advised About Financial Theft Through Cyber Fraud |
The Office of the Bursar, Office of Information Technology, and Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid partner to warn students about financial fraud against their Institute accounts and how to protect them.

Georgia Tech will host a luncheon featuring a symposium and the awards presentation.
The entire campus community is invited to attend.

Staff Awards Nominations Are Open |
The annual Institute Staff Awards recognize staff for outstanding achievements over and beyond their regular job duties and who model Georgia Tech’s core values and vision for the future. All faculty and staff, regardless of job function, are eligible and encouraged to submit a nomination. The nomination period closes on Sunday, Feb. 16.

The self-evaluations period closes today, and it is time to prepare for the next steps in the performance management cycle at Georgia Tech.
The Performance Evaluation period for 2024 is Feb. 1 to Mar. 31, and employees are invited to sign up for information sessions:

| Biannual Compliance Training Launches Feb. 3 |
The 2025 Spring Biannual Compliance Training will help Georgia Tech employees understand and uphold the University System of Georgia and the Institute’s policies and compliance obligations.
All faculty, staff, and students who are active employees as of Jan. 1 will be required to complete the 2025 Spring Biannual Compliance Training by 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, Feb. 28.

Learn About the Educational Assistance Application Process |
Eligible full-time faculty and staff are encouraged to apply for education assistance through the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) and Staff Tuition Reimbursement Assistance Program (STRAP). These programs are designed to support your professional development and help you achieve your educational goals by providing tuition and mandatory fee waivers or reimbursements. The application period for the summer semester is March 15 – April 15.
