- Student Research Award: Fully funded by UROP.

This fall, BU welcomes its first class into the new Online Master of Science in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence program! This program blends rigorous systems thinking with applied AI, ethics, and real-world problem solving. Developed and taught by BU's Department of Computer Science faculty, the program integrates deep computer science foundations with modern artificial intelligence, preparing graduates to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that perform reliably in production environments and lead confidently in both technical and strategic roles. - Dr. Chang Xiao, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, selected as an Innovation Career Development Professor by President Gilliam and Provost Duckett.

Dr. Sabrina Neuman, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, awarded a 3-year NSF grant for $394,792, in support of their project "Collaborative Research: SHF: Scalable Cross-Layer Co-Design for Stable Mixed-Precision Acceleration."
- Dr. Kyle Deeds, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, awarded a 1-year grant for $52,000 for their collaboration with Harvard University, in support of their project "Public Data Preservation and Integrity Project."
- Dr. John Liagouris, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, awarded a 5-year NSF Career grant for $680,519, in support of their project “A Unified Analytics Stack for Secure Computation."
- Dr. Ed Chien, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, awarded a 5-year NSF Career grant for $649,999, in support of their project “Designing Vector Field Flows for Computational Knitting and Curved Layer 3D Printing."
