New Director of Industry Relations |
I am thrilled to introduce Jenni Birch Szolwinski as the new Director of Industry Relations for the College of Engineering and Computing. Jenni brings a wealth of expertise, holding an M.A. in Organizational Communication and a B.A. in Psychology from Purdue University. Her previous roles include Assistant Director of Employer Relations at Miami University’s Center for Career Exploration and Success (CCES) and Coordinator of the Cyber Academy Program at Lakota Local Schools. In her new role, Jenni will apply her extensive experience in cultivating industry partnerships, enhancing experiential learning opportunities for students, and fostering meaningful engagement with industry partners, while collaborating closely with CCES.
I sincerely appreciate all your support as we built and strengthened industry partnerships within the College of Engineering and Computing. Serving as the inaugural Director of Industry Relations has been an incredible experience, and I look forward to continuing to collaborate with you in new ways. I’m excited to see your connections with our engineering and computing students and faculty flourish in the years to come.
Please connect with Jenni if you have questions or want to participate in any of the events below. She will also reach out directly to introduce herself and learn how to meet your company’s needs and get you connected to the College of Engineering and Computing.

Finals Week Study Break
Monday, May 12
The event is an opportunity for the students to take a break from their intense finals' preparations, gather with CEC friends, and spend a little time thinking about something other than classes. Snacks and comfort food will be provided as well as activities to help the students "destress".
We are currently seeking opportunities to partner with companies to sponsor the event. Sponsors will have their company name and logo prominently displayed before, during, and after the event, and will significantly build their brand with CEC students.
