Participate in Opioid Overdose Prevention Education & Naloxone Training Thursday, November 3 6pm - 7:30pm│1 WSN, Parlor Deadline to RSVP: Monday, October 30 @11:59pm USGA will be hosting an in-person community Opioid Overdose Prevention Education & Naloxone (NARCAN) training. All students who RSVP will be entered to receive their certification and NARCAN kits after the training, free of charge. Empanadas and light refreshments will be served. The Abolitionist Social Work Club (ASWC) seeks to provide a space for social work students to learn how to apply the principles of abolition to social work practice. Come together to meet fellow Silver Silvers!  Real Conversations: For Us, By Us: Reclaiming Our Narratives Friday, November 17 | 4pm | Zoom Real Conversations is a drop-in wellness group for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) students at Silver. The monthly sessions facilitated by Dr. Tiffany Llewellyn, Wellness Counselor, and Silver Climate Peer Liaisons, Gerri Connaught, and Fatima Mabrouk, focus on affirmations, joy, reclaiming narratives, and strategies for self-care.
