December 2016
Workforce Development
Building tomorrow’s workforce today.
Thank you volunteers for making the 2016 Career Pathway Fairs a huge success!

In November and December, more than 3,300 students participated in our 9 pathway fairs across the county. Additionally, more than 70 companies were represented by our industry speakers, who undoubtedly made an impact on a student’s future by answering a question, serving as a role model, or being an encouraging voice in his or her life.

When surveyed, 93.3% of middle school teachers stated the pathway fairs were a good use of their students’ time. A teacher from Rock Springs Middle wrote, “Thank you for the work and commitment to help our 8th graders transition into high school, college, and adult life. It helps that we (teachers) are not the only ones trying to help guide them!”

Also, thank you to the teachers at each school that coordinated these events.
