Veterans and alumni of Clemson University created Veteran One, a tech company that matches veterans with careers that capitalize on their unique skill sets, intending to make the transition into civilian careers easy for veterans who might not realize how valuable their experience is in the corporate world.

Erwin Center hosts annual diversity camp, Dive In, to introduce diverse talent to brand communications industry
The Erwin Center for Brand Communications hosted the annual Dive In camp in May to provide students with hands-on experience, exposure and networking opportunities with brand leaders and industry professionals. This year's cohort included 15 students from Clemson and neighboring HBCUs in an immersive four-day career exploration that included trips to brands and agency partners in Greenville and Atlanta.

Marketing graduate Samuel Rhett Cecil doubled up on his family's legacy this month, reinforcing its military heritage by commissioning into the U.S. Marine Corps as a second lieutenant on May 10 and becoming the latest family member to receive a Clemson degree on May 11, extending the family's ties to Clemson to four generations.
