Greetings Saklan Community,
I hope everyone is doing well. I have a quick read here, a heads-up to more detailed communications coming out this week. I am dispensing with the niceties here and cutting to the chase.
On Tuesday, you will see detailed instructions about prescreening your student before bringing them to school. No students or staff with any COVID-19 symptoms will be allowed on campus.
Parental prescreen will take place through RenWeb, instructions, and tutorials coming.
From Wednesday to Friday, K-8 students will come in small cohorts for an orientation held outdoors with all the safety protocols. ECE students will come with their parents on Friday. See the previous email.
The ECE will open in person on the 24th, and we plan on having small cohorts (K-8) coming once a week starting in early September. Details coming.
Extended will be available for ECE students until 4 pm, beginning August 31st.
Protocols for sick students, teachers, staff, and family members will be sent Tuesday.
Student schedules are completed and do not look significantly different from the drafts we shared. They will be sent out later this week.
We will be restricting parents and visitors access from campus.
The parking lot will be closed in order to safely screen students. Please park in the Holy Trinity parking lot next door.
Parents cannot leave campus until their student has been screened.
All individuals entering campus are to be screened, masked, and will wash or sanitize their hands upon entering the facilities.
All masks must be fitted appropriately and not use a valve.
Every parent must sign the Expectations and Responsibility document before their student can come to campus. It will be sent via DocuSign Tuesday morning, along with our specific policies and procedures we are asking you to support.
This may be the shortest update I have written in the past five months. Keep an eye out for our communications this week - they will have quite a bit of information as we move towards bringing some normalcy back to our lives.
