Upstream Arts is on the road! We're at the beginning of a two-week long intensive residency in neighboring Milwaukee, WI, and already stories of creativity and communication are rolling in. One Teaching Artist said,
"Today was an explosion of dance, and it's definitely the language of our students. I felt I truly met them not when getting their name, but when I saw their dance moves across the circle."
We're so honored to have steadfast partners in the Harry and Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center and Milwaukee Public Schools. We're also thrilled to extend programming to Portal, Inc., a nonprofit serving adults and youth with disabilities in Wisconsin.
