Where Passion Meets Opportunity

NEW Code Camp Added!

Exciting News! Back by popular demand, we have added another hands-on coding camp this summer for incoming 3rd through 5th graders!
Camp dates: July 10-14.
Campers will have the opportunity to explore the world of computer science through various coding activities and hands-on physical computing. Each camper will develop basic coding skills as they make their own "apps" with MIT's Scratch coding platform. Campers will also create their own video game controllers as they problem-solve their way through the world of physical computing.
No experience is necessary.

If I Had A Hammer House Build

Murfreesboro City Schools, with the support of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and the Rutherford Works Construction Council, have introduced the "If I Had a Hammer'" program in 7 of the 12 elementary schools located in Murfreesboro.  The program involves math education and exploration into careers in architecture, construction and engineering. It also includes a classroom component and a hands-on house build using their newly gained understanding of fractions.

We have already raised $19,500 toward our goal of $45,000 to cover the cost of the house build for the next 3 years.

To learn more about how you can support this program and Murfreesboro City School's, please contact:
