Clemson University honors fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetery
This December, leaders from the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, Army and Air Force ROTC cadets, Clemson University alumni and Clemson Corps representatives traveled to the nation's capital to honor the ultimate sacrifices of 32 fallen Tigers at Arlington National Cemetery.

How much does ChatGPT know about finance?
Dan Greene, Bill Short Professor of Finance at the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, noticed a rising concern in college students about the possibility of AI limiting the number of jobs available when they enter the workforce. In response to this concern, Greene combined his research with teaching strategies to create an innovative class assignment.

TEDxClemsonU: Two business faculty members present at TEDx
This August, two Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business faculty members presented at TEDxClemsonU. TEDx is a global grassroots initiative that brings TED's mission of sharing "ideas worth spreading" to local communities through independently organized events featuring live speakers and recorded TED Talks.

Snow Institute for the Study of Capitalism hosts two fall lectures
This fall, the Snow Institute for the Study of Capitalism hosted two successful lectures on Clemson's campus, which students, professors and community members attended. The SISC hosted its bi-annual Pope Lecture, given by Mr. Michael Malice, author, podcaster and commentator and invited Brendan McConville, a professor of history at Boston University, for a Lyceum Lecture.

MBA Executive Board Learning Series: AI in Business
Earlier this semester, the Clemson MBA Program introduced the MBA Executive Board Learning series, a condensed certificate program presented by the Phyfer Innovation Hub that offers opportunities for working professionals to engage in professional development. The series began with a four-week program to discuss how companies use AI and its impact in their respective industries.

Army & Air Force Joint Commissioning Ceremony
Clemson Army and Air Force ROTC units will hold a joint ceremony to commission 18 Second Lieutenants at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at Strom Thurmond Institute. After the ceremony, the newly appointed lieutenants will participate in a Silver Dollar Salute on Clemson University's Military Heritage Plaza.

Fall 2024 Commencement Ceremonies
The Doctoral Commencement will be held on Dec. 18, 2024, at 3 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum. The December master's and bachelor's ceremonies will be held for all colleges on Dec. 19, 2024, at 9 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum, including live stream.
