Good morning! Nineteen students were selected for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program. Clemson Extension specialists and researchers are helping address algal blooms statewide; Several faculty and students in the School of Nursing recently received Palmetto Gold Awards.

As algal bloom issues arise across the state, Clemson Extension specialists and University researchers have been helping communities identify blooms earlier, reduce risks and protect water resources before problems escalate.

The Faculty Senate Advisory Committee named Paul Gordon-Ross its Senator of the Year, recognizing his leadership and service to the Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine and the community. Cameron Bushnell also received the Alan Schaffer Faculty Senate Service Award and Anna Baker was named Executive Committee Senator of the Year.
